Patricia E. Kass' Obituary
Patricia E. Kass, age 73, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. She was born July 19, 1950 in Grant, MI to John and Hattie (Bol) Schut. Pat graduated from Ravenna High School in 1968. She then went on to beauty school to become a beautician and later owned and operated her own business, Pat’s Beauty Shop, until retiring in 2016. In September of 1972, she married William “Bill” Kass in Ravenna, and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1989. Pat enjoyed sewing, reading, going to casinos, and playing card games with friends and family. SURVIVORS include three children: William “Bill” Kass of Muskegon, Jeanette Ralston of Ravenna, and Brian (Andrea) Kass of Ravenna; six grandchildren: Dillon, Haydon, Jesse, Brianna, Ashleigh, and Jacob; her significant other, Joe Braford; two brothers: Dan (Joanie) Schut of Minnesota and Ken (Joyce) Schut of Ravenna; sister, Janice Schut of Sparta; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marsha Schut.
