Patricia Ann "Pat" LaCrosse's Obituary
Patricia Ann “Pat” LaCrosse, age 72, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born March 30, 1951 in Grand Haven, MI to George and Florence (Bolthouse) Dunning. Pat graduated from Grand Haven High School and worked for Walgreen’s for 25 years prior to her retirement. On February 8, 1969, she married Raymond J. “Ray” LaCrosse in Muskegon. Pat and Ray celebrated 52 years of marriage together until his death on March 11, 2021. Pat enjoyed bird watching and going to concerts. She had a big heart and a selfless personality, and because of that she cared for many family and friends over the years. SURVIVORS include 2 children: Michelle (Keith) Haagsma of Spring Lake and Brian (Amanda Bottje) LaCrosse of Muskegon; three grandchildren: Brandon and Kaitlin LaCrosse, and Matthew Haagsma; two brothers: Dan (Sandy) Dunning of Fruitport and George (Cindy) Dunning of Ferrysburg; sister, Janice (Tom) DeMarse of Melbourne, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents. SERVICES for Pat will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery, Grand Haven, MI.
