Mrs. Patricia L. McKinley's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia L. McKinley, age 84, passed away on May 15, 2014 in Muskegon MI. She was born on March 19, 1930 to Ewald and Florence (Grill) Pfeiffer in Manistee. Pat graduated from Manistee High School class of 1948. After graduation she relocated to Flint. On August 5, 1950 she married her high school classmate Jack McKinley. Together they were blessed with four children. Pat was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and Viking Lodge #57, and a avid bowler on many local teams. SURVIVORS include her husband of 63 years Jack; 4 children, Patty (Don Oudman) McKinley, Jack (Sharon) McKinley, Pamela (Joseph) Szmadzinski and James (Kristine) McKinley; grandchildren, Bob and Greg Moore, Matt, Amy, Jacklynne McKinley, Kelsey and Kendall McKinley, and Joseph and Corey Szmadzinski; 2 great grandchildren; and sister Diane (Robert) Somsel. She was preceded in death by her parents. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Monday May 19, 2014 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 495 S Getty St, Muskegon with Fr. Michael Olson officiating. VISITATION will be held on Sunday from 4-7 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, or Viking Linne Lodge #57 Scholarship Fund.
