Patricia Ann Moore's Obituary
Patricia Ann Moore, age 88, passed away Monday morning, March 17, 2025. She was born July 9, 1936 in Chillicothe, OH to Orville Burlile and Mary Alice (Clellan) Hoffman. Pat graduated from West High in Columbus, OH in 1954. On January 28, 1961, she married the love of her life, Maurice “Jerry” Moore in Ohio, who preceded her in death on February 21, 2013. Jerry and Pat were blessed with five children, John, Paul, Karen, David, and Linda. She worked at Roger’s Printing in Ravenna for over ten years until her retirement. Pat was a great cook and a wonderful seamstress and was known for her sense of humor and sarcasm. She enjoyed her garden, canning, playing cards and board games. Pat was a member of Bible Study Fellowship for many years and had a great group of friends and church friends in Conklin. Pat grew up Presbyterian and was very faithful to her Lord and Savior. Every week she and Jerry would take the family to Mass at St. Francis Xavier and teach them the importance of growing their faith. Pat’s grandchildren meant everything to her. She was always there to support and cheer them on regardless of the activity. Pat will be missed by all who knew her. SURVIVORS include four children: Paul (Sumaia) Moore, Karen (Greg) Helsen, Dave (Karen) Moore, and Linda (Corey) Mango; daughter-in-law, Janet (Dave Swanson) Moore; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, James Moore; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John Moore; great-granddaughter, Selah Moore; and sister-in-law, Patricia Frances Moore. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Patricia will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 24, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2044 Gooding St., Conklin, MI 49403, with the Rev. Fr. Andrew Ayers presiding. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at The Ravenna Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 3570 Thomas St., Ravenna, MI 49451 (231) 853-6511 and one hour prior to the service at the church Monday morning.
