Patricia Elaine Santose's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Elaine Santose, age 84, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born in Shelby, Michigan on September 27, 1937 to Vern and Stacia (Hammond) Schmuck. On July 25, 1959, Patricia married William J. Santose in Muskegon and they had five children. Patricia was a loving wife and adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the Little River Casino. She also enjoyed knitting and made special gifts for all of her family. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill”; five children, Rene (Daniel) Frein, Joseph Santose, Mike (Aileen) Santose, Nancy Santose Schrader, Susan Santose; nine grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Snyder, Daryl (Kelly) Vanderslute, Cody (Amy Marie) Vanderslute, Eric (Ashley) Santose, Zachary (Anna) Santose, Alex (Vanessa) Santose, Adam (Ashley) Schrader, Dana (Corey) Mead, and Stacia (Tyler) Cherwonka; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ron Schmuck. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Friday, December 17, 2021 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441. SERVICES will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at The Walburn Chapel. Burial will be immediately following her service at Laketon Township Cemetery.
