Mrs. Patricia L. Sells' Obituary
Mrs. Patricia L. Sells, 81, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, in Muskegon. She was born May 30, 1936 to Benjamin and Marie (Carrier) Deuling in Fremont and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. Pat was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was employed as a secretary at several area companies, retiring from Howmet in 1998. On May 4, 1957 she married Delbert K. Sells, and he survives her. Pat and Del enjoyed camping, sledding, snowmobiling, and traveling. For many, many years following their retirement, she and Del traveled around the country in their motorhome, and she was very proud to say that she had been to all 50 states in her lifetime. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and after she retired she took up quilting, making a quilt for each of her children. Pat is also survived by 3 children, Sandra (Charles) Justian, Michael (Deborah) Sells, Lynn (David) Klemp; 4 grandchildren, Angelyn Justian, Andrea (Kyle) Hobbins, Miranda Klemp and Gabriela Klemp; 1 great-granddaughter, Zaria Hobbins; 3 sisters, Grace Schafer, Doris (Albert) Cwiakala, Judith (David) Johnson; and sister-in-law Aggie (Connie) Nelson. She was preceded in death by grandson, John Messina; brother, James Deuling; and sister, Darlene (Barry) McFall. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service and after the service during the luncheon.
