ps. we were all in love with Mike :o)...same grade.
I remember Pat from the Sanford Street neighborhood and St. Jean's. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She had a great sense of humor. That humor came in handy when my daughters and a neighbor boy picked tomatoes from her garden and threw them on Sanford Street, watching the cars running them over. Those were the days!
I was blessed to know her and Glenn.
“Grandma Si” as we all knew her as, was all you could ask for in a grandma: a warm smile, the perfect hug and a great listener. She was funny, sassy and dedicated to her family. She made delicious food and always had great snacks for us to munch on. During the holidays she was a joyous host and everything came out of the kitchen seamlessly (at least in the eyes of a child). I remember her moving about the kitchen with a dress and apron looking like a movie star. She was beautiful inside and out. I will miss her very much, but I know she’s hanging tough with my dad (Mike), Julie and the love of her life (grandpa Si).
