Patricia Jean Streets' Obituary
Patricia Jean Long-Streets was born April 27th, 1958 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Carl "Gene" & Elizabeth "Mickey" Long. She was diagnosed September 2016 with small cell lung cancer. She fought like a true warrior, but sadly lost her battle May 23rd, 2018. She leaves behind her adoring husband of 34 years, Frederick T. Streets; her 5 children: Elizabeth Lay (Chris), Chastity Landon (Alan), Charles Kleman III, Heather Storey (Carl), and Dustin Streets; her mother; her sister, Lorna Long (Joe); and her brother, Michael Long (Ester). She was preceded in death by her father. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Logan Kleman, Mickey Murphey, Zachary Streets, Maddie Streets, Chris Storey (Tiffany), James Murphey, Trent Murphey (Cassandra), AJ Landon, Dri Spradlin, Jessie Spradlin, Denver Lay, and 11 great-grandchildren. Patty was a loving wife, a protective mother, and an all-around beautiful person. The world is a little bit dimmer without her smile to brighten the day of the people who knew and loved her. Anyone that knows Patty, knows how much her family meant to her. She loved nothing more than when everyone was together, and her door was always open. She was so full of life and as feisty as she could be. She loved riding her horses, getting out on her motorcycle for a cruise, kayaking or tubing down the river and just being in nature. There wasn't an animal she couldn't tame or a stray she wouldn't take in. Her children not only lost their mother, but also a best friend. Life just won't be the same without her. In lieu of flowers, the family is taking a collection to help pay for her final expenses. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442, 231-726-5210
