I had the pleasure of knowing Patty through the school food service world. She was always generous with her time and her willingness to try new food items for her students. Her passion for school meals and her bright smile will definitely be missed.

My heartfelt sympathy to Patricia’s family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Patty as the Superintendent of Holland Public Schools while she served as our Director of Nutrition Services. Ensuring that our children had the best food options was our collective vision and goal. She always met me with a smile even though she likely anticipated that I would have another idea that could bring about changes in practice. Feeding our children was a number one priority for learning both in/out of school. She assisted me with developing plans and collaborating with many wrap around services to ensure that our students were fed during the Global Pandemic, each summer, and even over extended weekends that were unexpected due to schools being closed for inclement weather. She was a true champion for children and I appreciated all that she did for our district. I am saddened to miss her service but sending my thoughts and appreciation to her family. My deepest condolences to the Wall and Haase family. There are no words for such a loss, but I know how much Patty loved her family as her hairstylist of over 15yrs and all the stories I felt and heard the love.
Patty was one of my all time favorite clients/people, she was a princess with the most beautiful hair and eyebrows. She and I would always joke about her having to have the prettiest hair everywhere she went and one time her and David were on one of their weekend trips in traverse and she texted me “Joan, there’s some lady here with prettier hair than me!!!” I assured her that that lady probably had fake hair. I am going miss laughing with her, her knowing me truly and calling me out in my BS, her beautiful “Victoria secret model” hair that I loved styling, her smile and friendship.
I really believed she was going to beat this and I (have already this past year and a half) miss her deeply. She was one of earths good ones, with so much love and compassion and it’s not fair. I will think of Patty often treasuring my memories I have with her and be thankful we were alive and crossed paths at the same time. I love you Patty and I know wherever you are your hair is the best, longest and prettiest.

My deepest condolences to the Wall family. Patty, my BFF, as we called each other, will be missed, my heart is heavy right now. David, Jacob and Jared, she loved you, I know you already know that but I wanted you to know that she told everyone. Remember all of the good and loving memories you had, for she will always be with you.
