Patricia "Pat" Wiseman's Obituary
Patricia Wiseman, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1943, to Louis and Evelyn (Mills) Farrell in Pawtucket, RI, and graduated from Pawtucket High School with the Class of 1961. On November 16, 1963, Patricia married the love of her life, James Wiseman, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. Together they shared 61 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories with their family. In 1979, they made their way to Muskegon, where they built their home and community. Pat was a dedicated employee of First Financial Advisers, where she worked as a secretary for more than 15 years. In her earlier years, she enjoyed crocheting and took great pride in creating and sharing her work with her children. Above all, family meant everything to Pat. She was the glue that held everyone together, and she treasured being present at every family activity. Known for reminding others that “life is about making memories,” she truly lived by her favorite saying! She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Pat’s warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Wiseman; four children, Jim A. Wiseman, David (Barb) Wiseman, Deb (Terry) Temple and Donna (Kevin) Huston; eight grandchildren, John (Marissa) McCleve, Jaden (Matt) Udell, Megan Smith, Alyssa Johnson, Jacob Wiseman, Katey Temple, Becca (Wyatt) Wright and Cody Huston; five great-grandchildren, Emma Ware, Riley Ware, Clara McCleve, Myla McCleve and Ella Udell; cherished pup, Taffy; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise Farrell; baby sister, Mary Farrell; and daughter-in-law, Gara Wiseman. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Emmanuel Free Church, 17737 W. Spring Lake Rd., Spring Lake, MI 49456 with a visitation from 10-11:30 AM at church. In lieu of other gifts, the family kindly requests both fresh flowers and live plants be sent in honor of Pat, as both are deeply appreciated.
