Patricia A. Medema's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia A. Medema, age 75 with family at her side, peacefully passed away, Wednesday afternoon, February 4, 2008 following a long illness. Pat was born in Keysham, England on February 5, 1933 to Leslie and Helen (Powell) Carter. She met Mr. Ernest J. Medema and moved to Muskegon in 1955 where they married on December 16, 1955. Pat was employed as a Microfilm Operator at the County of Muskegon Register of Deeds Office for 21 years, retiring in 1994. Pat enjoyed playing bingo but it was mostly her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that gave her joy. She is survived by her: husband, Ernie Sr.; daughter, Lori Lyn Medema of Muskegon; two sons, Ernest J. (Susie) Medema, Jr. of Manton and Alan S. (Sherri) Medema of Muskegon; three grandchildren, Ernest III, Ryan and Samantha; two great-grandchildren Sonja and Dakota and sister Shirley McLouglin of England. In accordance to her wishes there will be a private family memorial service. There will be no visitation.
