Dear Rogalla kids and families:
I am so sad to hear about the passing of your mother. She was a truly Great Lady. She always was one to be genuinely concerned about others, kind, gentle and had a great sense of humor. She really made me want to do right, because I didn't want to disappoint her. She wasn't even MY Mom and she made me feel like that!

Our parents were the best of friends, and she was my Mom's best friend. I remember going to your house in the Heights for visits, playing with old telephones your dad had brought home. Boy, did my brothers love that! We always thought your dad was so cool because he had a beard!

When I was first married, I remember your parents inviting me and my new husband over for a Sunday dinner, knowing how much I missed my family.

Craig and I were out of town for the past week and could not attend the visitation. We were so sorry to hear of Pat's passing and would like to extend our condolences to all her children. I worked with Pat at Mercy and also attended school with Eileen and Rick. I will never forget her kindness to me. We had a baby shower at her home when I was pregnant for my first child. She was a wonderful person. We have a boat at the marina below Pat's house and all this past summer I would think of her as we came and went. Dear Sue, Eileen and Richard,

We are so very sorry about your Mother's passing. Rick and I were out of town over the weekend and found out about it too late to attend her funeral. In no way would we have missed it if it were possible.

I remember your Mom as an incredibly kind, supportive and cultured person. When I would practice some flute piece or another with Sue or Ann at your home, both your Mom and Dad would be so very encouraging. This meant so much to me. They were true Patrons of the Arts, whether they were supporting symphony musicians, or applauding the flegeling attempts of a beginning flute player. They always made me feel very special.

We're so sorry we had to miss the visitation.Pat was a goog friend thru the years,we'll miss her.I'm glad they got ahold of me to go to the lunch at Russ's a few weeks ago,it was nice.
I give Pat a DVD of our retirement party at Mercy,you might want to see it.I do have a nice photo from the lunch if you would like it e-mail me.
