This is an opportunity to thank you for several ways your life impacted mine. My affiliation with MGH many years ago began with you, as Chief of Staff, welcoming me before a medical board meeting. The friendships I made with other staff members from those days at MGH continue to this day. Also you made sure a doctor from your internship program was available if an H&P was needed on my patients before their surgeries.
I'll smile when recalling many golf memories. You always had "the sweetest swing at SLCC", a single digit golfer until recent years. At times, a hook would show up uninvited and whenever others found trouble on the left, they would declare "I Walshed it"! You were in the original group who began our annual spring trips to Myrtle Beach decades ago. If someone needed a nickname, you were there to supply him with one. I will always respond to the one you gave me.
I will miss your prolific emails, your stretch routine before golf and your gift of humor, especially on St. Patrick's day. You've touched many people, Paddy, and we're all better for it. Family, patients and friends will miss you and thank you for being an important part of their lives. Right now you must be heading for the 1st tee as part of a dream foursome - Foxy, Dooner and 'ol Ed Garrison.

The world is diminished with Pat's passing. Molli and I ( Smallwood) share many fond memories of our lives in good old Kirkspatch... We didn't know how happy we were.
Playing Eucher and drinking scotch... and some of those trips home for Christmas together when we drove all night... Whew! and Pat never quit chiding me for how I corrected Blue Books in Bacti......He was a perfectionist, full of life and careful thought. While we didn't agree at times Pat was always up for a good debate sprinkled with a little or a Lot of tongue in cheek humor..... Paddy.... We'll miss him....
Never was their a more caring or dedicated physician than Patrick Walsh. I will always be indebted to his extra kindness in seeking out the cause and treatment for my headaches, sending up a resident to give me a massage after a painful surgery at General Hospital, and simply being a personable all-around good guy. Judy and family, we are sorry to hear of this great loss, as men like Pat are rare. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
The daffodils were beautiful this spring and lasted for a month! Pat's legacy will live on whenever I see my favorite daffodils. I am sorry for your loss. It was an honor to have known such a great man!

My thoughts and prayers to the family of Dr. Walsh. Working with him in ER at MGH was an honor. He taught me so much & kept me on my toes. I also worked with him at the medi center.
