Patsy Ann Hoos' Obituary
Mrs. Patsy Ann (Bonnett) Hoos, age 79, passed away Thursday evening, March 22, 2012, following a long illness. She was born December 19, 1932 in Muskegon to Paul and Ida (Schweissinger) Zeckzer; and had been a life resident of the area. Patsy had been a data entry operator at Kaydon prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, its Altar Society, the “Kaydon Girls” (office retirees) and of American Legion Merritt Lamb Post #9 Auxiliary. Patsy was an expert cook whose original recipe of German Potato Salad was sought after by many of her friends. SURVIVORS include her husband, Bob; and 1 son, Brent Bonnett of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Bonnett; 1 son, Barry; brothers, Paul, Eugene and Wallace Zeckzer; sister, Joyce Cowan; and nephew, Darryl Bonnett. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (239 W. Clay) with the Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with Patsy’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd.,Muskegon, MI 49441 (231-759-8565);and one-hour prior to Mass at the Church on Wednesday. The Rosary will be prayed at 6PM Tuesday (this evening).
