Patty L. Dobberstein's Obituary
Patty L. Dobberstein, age 85, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at SKLD in Muskegon. She was born February 23, 1934 in Frankfurt, MI to Kenneth and Alice (Williams) White. On May 21, 1953, she married Lyle R. Dobberstein in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2010. Patty was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church. She was very artistic and loved to draw and paint. Patty was creative, spiritual and family-oriented. She found much peace in writing poetry and one of her poems has been published. Survivors include her children, Kitty Dobberstein, Brian (Pam) Dobberstein, Janan (Kevin) Carlson; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Katie, Scott, Jimmy, and Cherish; and 9 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at McGraft Memorial Congregational Church (1617 Palmer Ave.) with Pastor Mark Nieuwsma officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
