Randy and Family, I feel so bad, I just found out last night Patti died. I have so many fond memories, growing up and going to school with "Wheeler". Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Please pass my thoughts to Bobby too.
Patty and I went all through school together. As I read the tributes to her life, I can only agree that Patty was the most fun loving person I know. She never worried about things and could lift any ones spirits instantly! Although, I haven't seen her for many years her memory lives on. Patty was so much fun ... The memories , the fun, the joys and sorrows were shared with the little group we had when the kids were little, and one of my favorite memories of patty was when our group went grocery shopping and did lunch !! We would go to Russ's on Henry St. And her favorite item was " strawberry shortcake " and she totally enjoyed that ... When our kids were little they all played together and had fun and we girls played Yahtzee and this was a time when Mac and cheese was a staple being the late 1970 - early 80's . The Mac ' n cheese we ate!!!!! As the kids got older, families changed, and for the most part, life did to , but that was a time of changing lives. We periodically saw each other after that , but those times are some of the was that Patty impacted my life and I will never forget her for the lessons she taught me as well during those times . Thank you Patty -Pete- as was her nick name- for being a friend to me .
You were and are and always will be an amazing mom, wife, person. Fun to hang out with, was my best friend, I could talk to you about anything and you always helped me in anyway you could (laughed, cried whatever I needed you were there). I will miss your touch, the sound of your voice and your beautiful face. This was the hardest thing I have ever been through. But I know you are at peace and pain free and that helps me get through each and every day. I will always love you and never forget. Love always your daughter Chantel
Baby sister Patty, my earliest memories of you are you sitting on my lap pulling my face in every direction possible & then when you learned to talk calling it "rubber face". I also remember giving you dog biscuits when you were about 5 & telling you they were cookies & you loved them. I love you to the moon & back. Give my love, hugs, & kisses to Daddy, Tonya, & JD.
