Paul H. Breuninger's Obituary
Mr. Paul H. Breuninger, age 84, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 in Grand Rapids. He was born October 5, 1927 in Muskegon to Fredrick and Anna (Hoffman) Breuninger. Paul served in the Michigan National Guard and later the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He received an associate degree from Ferris State College and was employed at Anaconda Wiring Co. as office manager and cost accountant for 35 years until his retirement in 1988. He was a past president of the National Association of Accountants and past president of the board of trustees of McGraft Congregational Church. On February, 20, 1954, Paul married the former Mary L. Buitendorp in Muskegon. She survives him along with 3 daughters, Susan Grisdale of Orlando, FL, Cindy (Tom) Trierweiler of Lowell, MI and Cherie (Mike) Purchase of Canton, MI; also, 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Breuninger and a sister, Dorothy Sietsema. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
