Paul C. DeNio Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Paul C. DeNio Sr. age 85, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at a local nursing home. Paul was born September 7, 1931 to Earl and Julia (Gunn) DeNio in Muskegon. He was employed as a truck driver for Hooker Motor Freight until his retirement and early on in his career as a police officer for Egelston Township. Paul married Jacqueline Conroy and she preceded him in death in 2003. Paul enjoyed watching Nascar racing, Detroit Lions and high school football. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Paul Jr., (Deborah) DeNio, Kimber DeNio, Brian (Pam) DeNio, Tonda (Charles) Loomis, Ginger (Dan) Dennis and Lori (Brent) Thies; 35 grandchildren; brothers, Dave DeNio and Terry (Linda) DeNio. Paul was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Roxie; 2 brothers, Richard and George and 5 grandchildren. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be 4-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
