Paul Jr. Lampe's Obituary
Mr. Paul Jr Lampe, of Grand Haven, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020. He was born January 5, 1942 in Grand Haven to the late Paul and Gladys (Bolton) Lampe. He was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and Western Michigan University. His life work was dedicated to building beautiful homes all along the coast of West Michigan with his Lampe Construction Company. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he had served as a trustee. However, his happiest moments were on Big Star Lake surrounded by his family and friends.
He married Mariann (Reenders) Lampe on June 19, 1965 and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2014. He is survived by his dear friend, Shirley Shuman; three daughters: Marta (Jeff) Wassenaar of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Paula (Wade) Martin of Park City, Utah, and Betsy (Jason) Veeneman of Holland, Michigan; eight grandchildren: Maggie Mackraz, Olivia (Ben) Collaer, Sarah (Brain) Langerak, Anna (Liam) Gavin, Tosh and Elle Martin, Tessa and Lucy Veeneman; three great-grandchildren: Etta Gavin, and Barrett and Lillian Langerak. He is also survived by his brother, Ken (Ginni) Lampe of Spring Lake, Michigan.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Paul may be given to Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity (http://www.tricitieshabitat.org or 600 S.
