Mary and family--I was so shocked and surprised to hear about your loss, Know that our thoughts are with you at this difficult time and so are our prayers for you and your children. Mary, so sorry to hear of your loss and please know that our thoughts are with you and your family.
I have to smile to myself when I remember how you volunteered Paul's services to remove the bushes from the front of the clinic. I think I remember you telling Paul it would only take a couple of hours yet it turned into a full days job for him! I'm not sure he really enjoyed the task but it was much appreciated.
We send our love.

Mary, most of my memories of Paul are of when we were in elementary school together. I look at the picture posted here online and it's still the third grader I played with at recess! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

I just heard the news late yesterday. I am so shocked. I grew up with The Larsens as Paul’s Dad and my Dad were close childhood friends. Mr. Larsen was in my parents’ wedding, standing up as my Dad’s best man. The two men even ended up having careers together working at the Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (MichCon). So, there are many memories. But, my fondest memory of Paul is his dedication to attending the Memorial Day mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery. I could count on seeing him there every year. After my mother passed away, Paul always made it a point to stop at my mother’s grave. He knew he would find my Dad there. Paul would catch my Dad up on the latest happenings at MichCon, and then they would start reminiscing about the past and Paul’s parents. They would get to chuckling and it always made my Dad so happy. Paul’s laugh, and even his voice, always reminded me of his father. Paul came to my Dad’s funeral from work in his work street clothes. He apologized and said, “But, I wouldn’t have missed this for the world.” Our eyes filled with tears. Of course, the next Memorial Day, Paul showed up at my parents’ gravesite and reminisced with me. I will truly miss Paul each and every Memorial Day.
Mary, Kathy, Susie, and Pam, I know we have not seen each other in many years, but I hope you know that the entire Kollar family is with you through loving thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will all miss your awesome brother Paul, just as we still deeply miss your parents.

Dear Mary Lynn, My prayers are with you and your family. "Pauley" gave us tremendous joy in the school halls and cafeteria, always smiling "from ear to ear" and playing pranks, a wonderful spirit lives on in each of you, his family and friends. He was blessed to have you all in his life. With sympathy, Christine Cannon Bucher
May the hope at Isaiah 25:8 bring the Larsen family much comfort, here God assures us that death will be swallowed up or removed from all the earth. This is something that we can look forward to in the near future.
