Mr Paul Frederick Schwarzenberg's Obituary
Mr. Paul Frederick Schwarzenberg, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born on February 20, 1925 to Paul E. Schwarzenberg and Wilhemina (Fethke). Paul served in the United States Air Force as a training pilot and MP during WWII. He was a 32nd degree Mason and had been employed by GTE for 33 years before his retirement. Paul was a hard worker, enjoyed to read, travel, do crafts with Donna, and watching the Detroit Tigers. He also was very fascinated in figuring out how things worked. Most of all, Paul loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was very dedicated to Central Lutheran Church and spent many years as the treasurer, later in life he became a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In 1954, Paul married the former Donna Jean Castonia and she survives him along with their children, Paul Schwarzenberg, Denise Byrnes, and Lori (Russ) Schuitema; grandchildren, Brandi (Sam) Fattore, Derrick (Natasha) Keur, Reed Schuitema, Lindsay (fiancé Jordan) Schuitema; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Julia (Harry) Tiemann. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Audrey Schwarzenberg and Mavis Chidester. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S Harvey Street, 231-798-1100 with pastor John Jack presiding.
