Mr. Paul L. Veltkamp's Obituary
Mr. Paul L. Veltkamp, age 71, passed away at his home on October 10, 2014. He was born on February 24, 1943 to Lawrence and Kathryn (Leenstra) Veltkamp in Muskegon. He is survived by his wife Katherine E. “Kit” (Christopher) Veltkamp and his children, Christopher (Carrie) Veltkamp, Paige Veltkamp and Cydney (Mike) Phillippe; 8 grandchildren, Manuel, Ariel, Angeline, Paige Nicole, Madeline, Amelia, Kora and Grace; brother, Lane (Marybeth) Veltkamp; sister, Barbara (Don) Poel; and 6 wonderful step-children. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, David Veltkamp and Loren Veltkamp. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to the Love Community Garden in Muskegon. Burial will take place at Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland.
