Paula Abraham's Obituary
Paula Ann Abraham (Polly), age 57, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2003 after a long illness. Polly was born on February 14, 1946 in Muskegon to Paul and Dorothy (Delaney) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central and lived most of her life in Muskegon. Before receiving a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University, she owned Polly’s Beauty Salon in East Muskegon. After graduating from college, she went on to be a substance abuse counselor and owned the Recovery Corner Bookstore in Buford, Georgia. She was a long time member of AA, and was formerly involved in PWP (Parents Without Partners). Her dear friend and companion, Jack Martens preceded her in death on November 16, 2003. Polly is survived by her children, Timothy (Diane) Abraham, Patrick (Lisa) Abraham, Michael (Lori) Abraham, all of Muskegon; three grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, and Jade; sister, Sharon Linnenkohl and life partner Karen Landis of Reseda, CA; brothers, Thomas (Helen) Fitzpatrick of Hart, Michael (Maxine) Fitzpatrick of Ocala, FL; Aunts, Katherine (Winton) Clinard, Patricia (Don) Dertein, Helen (Ed) Walters; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
