Paula M. Dutton's Obituary
Paula M. Dutton, age 69, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 21, 1953, to Louis and Ruth (Baker) Mazade in Muskegon, MI. She graduated from Oakridge high school class of 1971, Go Eagles! She returned to Oakridge, where she dedicated 25 years as an administrative assistant before retiring in 2015. On September 30, 1972, she married the love of her life, Steven Dutton in Muskegon. Together they cherished 50 years full of love, laughter and many adventures. Paula enjoyed spending her time perfecting her crafts or exploring and traveling to new places with Steve. She had a love for shopping and was always willing to go whenever she had the chance! Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, friends, and dogs. Paula was known for her kind and welcoming demeanor. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, proud mother, doting grandmother, wonderful sister, and dear friend to many. Her tender-loving and caring spirit will truly be missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Dutton; 4 children, Heath Dutton, Heather (Brent) Boeskool, Brett (Andrea) Dutton and Steve (Alycia) Kemme; 13 grandchildren, Khrista, Lauren (Justin), Austin (Emily), Madison, Brendan, Kaden, Jaxson, Karsen, Colton, Chase, Isabella, Blake and Alexa; 1 great-grandchild, Josie; 2 sisters, Louise (Leo) Elmer and Eyvonne (Jim) Finkler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Patsy Mazade. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 17, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with a visitation one-hour prior. A visitation with the family will be held from 2-4:00 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at The Lee Chapel.
