Dear Dan, Diane and family,
I was so sorry to read about your mom. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
My husband and I sing in St. Mary's choir. We were early one Christmas Eve for the midnight service and met and spoke to Paula for the first time. I asked her where she was from since we had spent time in New Jersey. It was a nice conversation.
Paula always sat in the front pew on the right side of the center aisle at 11:00 AM mass. Each time we choir members passed by in front of her, she would smile and we would smile back and wink. I will miss her and remember her for that smile and wink!
Once she had car trouble getting to a Women's Club potluck. I drove her home, and we talked about dogs. I think you can tell a whole lot about a person by whether he/she loves animals. And Paula did.

We will pray for the family, loved going over to her house once in awhile to chat. She had a great personality and was fun to be around, loved her cooking for the KC women's dinners. She is singing in Heaven.
