Paulette Joann "Paulie" Luci's Obituary
Mrs. Paulette JoAnn “Paulie” Luci, age 58, passed away Monday evening, November 3, 2008 at her home. Paulie was born May 23, 1950 to Paul and Betty (Jenkins) Lloyd, Jr. in Muskegon. On July 25, 1983 she married Douglas G. Luci in Muskegon. She loved spending time with her family. Paulie attended First Baptist Church where she had been a part of the Quilter’s Guild. She also was the owner and operator of Country Curl Beauty Salon on the corner of Harvey and Evanston Avenue for 23 years, until 2004. Paulie is survived by her husband, Doug; her mother, Betty Lloyd; 5 children, Andrea Rawson of Howard City, MI, Lynn (Eric) Henvey, Brian (Angie) Luci, Kimberly (Brian) Semelbauer and Jerry (Bernice Hatt) Rawson, all of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren, Robert Lamb, Jr., Corey Lamb, Ashley Lamb, Brianna Henvey, Toni Henvey, Bradley Rawson, Anna Chase, Zoe Semelbauer, Alanis Luci, Bret Luci, Daniel Wilhite Jr., and Ray Wilhite; 4 brothers, Bruce Lloyd of Muskegon, Steven (Patti Anderz) Lloyd of Lake Geneva, WI, Terry (Val McDonald) Lloyd of Twin Lake and Randy Lloyd of Muskegon; 1 sister, Judy Rogers of Muskegon; many nieces, nephews and friends. Paulie was preceded in death by her father; granddaughter, Veronica Rawson; and sister, Eleanor Lloyd. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1PM Friday, November 7, 2008 at the First Baptist Church (1070 S. Quarterline Rd.) with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the American Cancer Society or Harbor Hospice.
