Pauline Kay Cregg's Obituary
Pauline “Mamuh” Kay Cregg, age 83, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at home in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born May 17, 1942, in Cambridge, Ohio to Paul and Mary (LePage) Wallace.
She was a graduate of Muskegon High School, Class of 1960. After high school she worked for Hackley Hospital as a technician, retiring in 1979. On November 28, 1964, Pauline married the love of her life, Jon Cregg. Together they spent 62 years making memories.
Pauline had a deep love for children, which led her to a fulfilling career as a nanny a role she cherished through 2024. She also enjoyed traveling to Disney, camping with family, creating countless memories along the way, as well as cooking for her loved ones. In early spring, when she wasn’t caring for children or spending time with her loved ones, you could find her harvesting Maple Syrup-one of her favorite traditions.
She is survived by her husband, Jon; three children, Jay (Chanda) Cregg, Ann (Daniel Wildfong) Cregg, and Matthew Cregg (Beth McCaskey); five grandchildren, Kelsey (Courtney), Nathan, Mason, Julia, Mckenzie and Arianna; and four great grandchildren, Riley, Ian, Isaac, and Amira. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lee Wallace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 8, 2026, at First Lutheran Church Gymnasium, 1206 Whitehall Rd., Muskegon, MI 49445. Arrangements made through The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at https://www.sytsemafh.com.
