Paul Joseph Beeman's Obituary
Mr. Paul Joseph Beeman, age 71, passed away Thursday evening, October 8, 2009, at his home. He was born October 15, 1937 to Marvin and Edith (Vradenburg) in Shelby, MI. Paul served his country in the U.S. Army. On June 25, 1994 , He married the former Norma Marlow in Lakewood Club. Paul had worked as a lift truck driver for Genesco for 40 years prior to retiring in 2000. He loved the outdoors, hunting, two tracking, and mushroom picking. Paul also enjoyed collecting coins, being barefoot, and had a good sense of humor. In addition to Norma, his wife of 15 years, Paul is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda (Doug) Singleton of Twin Lake, Janet Sharlow of Whitehall, and Amy (Alejandro) Hernandez of Muskegon; 2 sons, Shawn (Shannon) Norwood of Muskegon and Aaron (Tammy) Broughman of Muskegon; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and one on the way; 2 brothers, Marvin Beeman of Muskegon, and Roger Beeman of Baldwin; 1 sister, Loraine Wilkinson of Montague; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Ken Sharlow, and 3 sisters. A CELEBRATION OF PAUL’S LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Orchard View Congregational Church (2175 Marquette Ave.) with Rev. Tom Beetham officiating and Full Military Rites being afforded under the auspices of the VFW Muskegon County Council. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
