Peggy Ann Rozycki's Obituary
Peggy Ann Rozycki, age 72, passed away peacefully Monday, October 7, 2019. For twelve years, Peggy fought a courageous battle against cancer with grace, courage, beauty, faith, dignity and a positive attitude. Peggy was born on June 5, 1947 in Muskegon, Michigan to Theodore and Marva Shatney. She is survived by her former husband, Peter Rozycki and their children, Mandy (David) Fouchea and Ryan (Andrea) Rozycki. Peggy adored her children and four grandchildren, Olivia, Brayden, Claire and Cade. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Patrick (Becky) Shatney and Paul (Luanne) Shatney; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Peter Shatney; and special friend, James Bricker. Peggy always put her family first and was happiest when she was surrounded by friends and family. She enjoyed entertaining, baking, shopping, decorating, and spending time at the beach. Peggy was a well-respected real estate agent for over 30 years in the Muskegon area. She was always recognized for her leadership, work ethic, and dedication. Peggy made an everlasting impression on many. Her generosity and huge heart will always be remembered by her friends and clients. A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held from 1PM – 4PM Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Mona Lake Boat Club (372 Randall Rd, Norton Shores, MI 49441). Please help us share our love for Peggy and celebrate her life. Her family would like to thank so many people for their support and being by her side for many years along her journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Johnson Cancer Center or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
