Mrs. Peggy Jean Swiatek's Obituary
Mrs. Peggy Jean Swiatek, age 81, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at her home in Norton Shores. She was born in Muskegon on October 31, 1931 to Victor F. and Helen L. (Parks) Keglovitz and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Swiatek had worked for Lift-Tech (the former Shaw Box Crane) for 42 ½ years before her retirement. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, loved Fricano’s pizza, and cherished time spent playing cards with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Wally V. (Andrea) Swiatek and Maria B. (Jeff) Loss; 5 grandchildren, Andria, Dylan and Austin Swiatek and Nicholas and Christian Loss and one brother, Donald E. Keglovitz. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Victor O. Keglovitz. A Memorial Gathering and celebration of her life will be held from 5 – 7 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Polish Union (1890 Henry St.). Memorials in her memory can be made to her favorite charity, the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
