Penny M. Boynton's Obituary
Penny M. Boynton, age 60, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born on February 14, 1961 to Lewirt and Katheryn (Flory) Boynton in Muskegon, MI. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bakers College. She was a dedicated employee and worked as a clerk for Muskegon County for numerous years. Penny enjoyed crafting and reading novels, especially those by Mary Higgins Clark. She was a loving woman with a heart of gold and her kindness will truly be treasured. Penny’s witty and spunky personality will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Lee Boynton; 2 sisters, Sandra Strait and Linda Boynton; 3 adopted sons, Andy Tibbitts, Chris Johnson and Charles Locke; adopted daughter, Jennifer Johnson; and adopted granddaughter, Katie Wegner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewirt and Katheryn Boynton. A Celebration of Penny’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 4:00 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. A visitation with the family will be held one-hour prior. Memorial Contributions in her honor can be made directly to the Lemonade Stand of Muskegon.
