Penny Ann Sowa's Obituary
Ms. Penny Ann Sowa, age 51, passed away Thursday morning November 11, 2010, surrounded by family, at Sanctuary at the Park Nursing Home. Penny was born December 31, 1958 in Muskegon to Robert and Bonnie (Brandt) Passinault. She was a graduate of Muskegon Catholic High School and member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Penny had worked at Airline Paint and Decorators Showcase as an interior decorator for many years prior to her illness. Penny was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is SURVIVED by her 2 children, Jeremy Sowa of Muskegon, and Shaun Poe of Eugene, OR; 2 sisters, Cynthia (James) Vresics of Norton Shores and Karen (David) Newman of New Canaan, CT; 2 brothers, Gary (Penelope) Passinault of Eugene, OR and Dan (Gina) Passinault of Wexford, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and special care givers. Penny was preceded in death by her parents. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 1PM Monday, November 15, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church ( 2929 McCracken) with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be Sunday afternoon from 2-6 PM at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey 231-798-1100 with the Rosary being prayed at 5 PM. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, Michigan Chapter.
