Perry A. Tice's Obituary
Surrounded by family and friends, Perry A. Tice, age 88, of Twin Lake passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 after a long illness. He was born to parents Watson Tice and Lavada (Pickens) on July 9, 1931 in Newaygo County, MI. He was employed at Anaconda Wire and Cable Company until an injury forced him into early retirement in the mid-70s. Perry was married to Donna (Sturgis) in January 1961. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children: Ken (Sara Sweetser) Tice of Turtle Lake, WI, Rick (Heidi) Tice of Fruitport, Lisa (Rick) Luttrull of Twin Lake, David and Joshua Tice both of Muskegon, James LeBaron of Muskegon, Debra LeBaron of Ludington, Perry “Buddy” LeBaron of Twin Lake; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; brother, Bernie (Angie) Tice of Apache Junction, AZ; and many, many nieces and nephews. Perry will be missed by many life-long friends and neighbors and especially by Rosalie Sorenson and Ron Dancz. Perry was predeceased by his best friend, Albert Bowman; brothers: Wayne “Emery”, Jerry, Lafayette “Pete”, and William “Joe”; sisters: Gloria, Betsy, Viola, and Lanora; son, Thomas LeBaron and grandson, Christopher LeBaron. Perry loved hunting, fishing, collecting from old barns, metal detecting, riding vintage motorcycles, and spending time with his family. He also loved just to sit on the porch with his favorite dogs and drink coffee. A Celebration of Perry’s Life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100.
