Peter J. Madison's Obituary
Mr. Peter Jack Madison, age 94, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon on January 6, 1924 to Peter H. and Judith (Johnson) Madison. Peter was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII. He was employed by Brunswick Corporation prior to his retirement in 1989. Peter was a former member of the Muskegon Elks and Moose Lodge. On December 30, 1955, he married the former Elaine M. Bush and she survives him along with three sons, David (Lynn) Madison, Wayne (Mali) Madison, and Peter J. Madison; three grandsons, Matthew Madison, Todd (Rachel) Madison, and Christopher Madison; three great-grandsons; sister-in-law, Beverly Forbear; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Troy Madison; two brothers, Harold and Robert Madison; sister, Florence Pelkey; and siblings-in-law, Raphael Bush, Bertha Madison, and Flossie Madison. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019 at Norton Cemetery, Norton Shores, Michigan followed by a CELEBRATION OF JACK’S LIFE from 2-4 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
