Peter R. Payne's Obituary
Peter Randall Payne, age 83, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Roosevelt Park Nursing Center. He was born January 23, 1941 in Grand Haven to Robert and Betty Payne and lived in the area most of his life. He graduated from Grand Haven High School and attended the University of Michigan. Peter worked as an electrician for BC Cobb Plant. On August 11, 2000, he married Carol M. Marrs in Muskegon, and she survives him along with a stepdaughter, Carrie Benson, a sister, Nancy (Michael) Kennedy, and sister-in-law, Ruth Payne. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Arrangements handled by The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W.
