Peter J. Dramisino's Obituary
Peter J. Dramisino, age 88, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010, at a local care facility. He was born March 25, 1922, in Chicago, IL, to Angelo and Emelia (Lofendo) Dramisino, and he married the former Helen Marie Yedinak on May 24, 1947, in Chicago. She preceded him in death on November 5, 1993.
Mr. Dramisino served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Zenith Television, Inc. as a television and radio repairman. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the VFW Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post #2326 in Grand Haven.
He is survived by three daughters: Paula (Len) Fettig of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Patricia (Dane) Guzzetta of Hillsdale, MI, and Claudia (Tim) Hennessy of Grass Lake, MI; a son, Phil (Kathleen) Dramisino of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren: Sarah (Josh) Potter, Matthew (Valerie) Guzzetta, Mary and Nathan Guzzetta, and Colin, Paul, and Emelia Hennessy; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Rutherford of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sophie Kubes.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, August 5, 2010, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Fr. William Langlois as celebrant. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 4, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30 PM, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Military rites will be provided by the VFW Sgt. Alvin Jonker Post #2326. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church are appreciated.
