Petra F. Patino's Obituary
Mrs. Petra F. Patiño, age 83, passed away Wednesday morning, December 31, 2008. She was born July 1, 1925 in Laredo, TX to Simon and Julia (Vargas) Flores and had lived in the Muskegon area since 1947. Mrs. Patiño worked for Howmet Corporation for 19 years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. On March 15, 1942 she married Raymundo Patiño in Laredo, TX and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1978. SURVIVORS include 9 children, Rogelio (Candi) Patiño of Colorado, Rosa (Bill) Graham of California, Rebecca (Warren) Wentzloff of Shelby, Ricardo Patiño, Renelda (Greg) Nelson, Romilda (David) Kiehnau all of Muskegon, Reynaldo Patiño of Jackson, Roberto (Kelley) Patiño, Rolando (Michelle) Patiño both of Muskegon; 35 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dan (Katie) Flores, Simon E. Flores both of San Antonio, TX; and a sister, Olivia (Bernardo) Hernandez of San Antonio, TX. She was also preceded in death by her son, Raymundo Patiño II. A MEMORIAL MASS will be celebrated 12 Noon Sunday, January 11, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. The Rosary will be prayed prior to the Mass at 11:30 AM Sunday morning also at church. Inurnment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
