Philip John Pamer's Obituary
Mr. Philip John Pamer, age 71, passed away peacefully Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home in Twin Lake, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 27, 1946 to Emil and Virginia (Powers) Pamer. Philip was a veteran of the United States Army and had served in the Vietnam War. He had been employed by Howmet for over 40 years prior to his retirement. Phil was on the Board of Directors for the Greater Michigan Bowling Association. He was an avid bowler and was a member of the 300 Club. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, woodworking, home improvements and landscaping. On April 5, 1980, Phil married the former Arlene Scheuneman in Muskegon and she survives him along with two children, Greg (Denise) Pamer and Lynn (Mark) Younts; seven grandchildren, Julius and Hunter Pamer, Alexis (Ryan) Courtland, Hunter, Alana, Colby and Avery Younts; one great grandson, Dawson Courtland; brother, Steve (Ruthann) Pamer; sisters, Mary (Don) Margraves, Ann (Pete) VanDyken, Sue (Mark) Lenkiewicz, Joann (Rick) Buikema, Diane (Ray) Buikema; sister-in-law, Judy Pamer and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Pamer. SERVICES will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Jerry Selleck officiating. VISITATION will be from 6:30-8:30 PM Friday, March 16, 2018 at The Lee Chapel.
