Phillip A. Spring's Obituary
Phillip A. Spring, age 59, passed away at Mercy Hospital on September 26, 2021. He was born on November 5, 1961 in Grand Rapids and was raised by Phillip and Marilyn (Ackerberg) Spring. Phil was an avid outdoorsman who loved trapping, hunting and fishing since he was a child. He belonged to a multitude of outdoor organizations during his life, but most important was the NRA and the Michigan Trappers & Predator Callers. He had a passion for his grandchildren and truly loved spending time with all of them. Phil was self-employed as a landscaper in the West Michigan area for many years. His life partner of 17 years Wendy Morden survives him along with his children Brandon (Samantha) Spring, Lauren (Kevin) Wells Nathan (Sierra Boersma) Spring, Ayla (Mason Embs) Vaughn and 8 wonderful grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Phil will be held at the Muskegon Bowman’s Club on October 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. MEMORIALS can be directed in Phil’s name to Michigan Trappers Kids Fund.
