Dave and I were so very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We are certain that Phil is the same Phil that we knew in Misawa AFB, Japan in the early 1970's. Dave was in the Air Force, and was stationed with the Far East Network (radio and television). Phil came to the base about a year before we left. He talked about being from Muskegon, MI. I had never heard of it, and now we have lived here for twenty years. I always thought we would meet him again sometime, but that wasn't meant to be. I remember him as a very nice and friendly young man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.##imported-begin##Dave and Kathy Myers##imported-end##
Mrs. Ogle, I just want you to know that your son was a very great humanbeing. When we first met he became my supervisor. But very quicly after that he became a dear friend. He was a big man with a enormously big heart. He was a true giverm whether it was giving advice or just listening. I will always treasure the time we had working together. Your family will be in my family's prayers. God Bless You Phil!##imported-begin##Chenise Miller##imported-end##
PHIL,To describe him he was the funny man as my son Nick says. Always quite the character, always the life of the party making little jokes here and there, picking on his mom.She was everything to him as he was to her always helping each other even from a far.He will be missed by many that he gave joy and happiness to.He knows his mother will be taken cared of by her many close friends,Pam Young like a daughter to Arla and a sister to Phil. Also Rick that has been so helpful to Arla.Thoughts and Prayers your friend always Jill.##imported-begin##Jill,Nick,Marv Norton##imported-end##
Phil began as a coworker, became my friend (and my boss!) I quickly learned that behind the big burley exterior was a gentle and kind man. His thoughtful nature and quick wit were unmatched. As was his culinary talent. The gifts that Phil possessed were too many to list, but will all be remembered as the things that made him great. I already miss him. My thoughts are with Mrs. Ogle. Know that your son was loved by many. My condolences. Erin Dunn##imported-begin##Erin Dunn##imported-end##
Hello Arla, I am one of Pat and Norm
Alexanders daughters from Getz Road many
years ago, I remember when you lived next
door to us and I remember playing bumper
pool with Phil in your garage and just
hanging out. I am shocked to hear of his
passing and so sorry for you. It sounds like he made a lot of accomplishments in
his life that you can be proud of.
Peace Be With You6##imported-begin##susan Weegmann (Alexander)##imported-end##
