Phylis Lucille Kuharevicz's Obituary
Mrs. Phylis L. Kuharevicz, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 following a short illness. She was born May 2, 1931 in Ludington, MI to Lawrence and Stella (Cole) Cabot. Phylis was a 1949 graduate of Ravenna High School. She married Edward J. Kuharevicz in Ravenna on November 10, 1951. He preceded her in death February 8, 2009. She retired as a school bus driver for Fruitport area schools. She was a past member of Fruitport Eagles, enjoyed bowling and was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan. She is survived by her children: Patricia A. (Gilbert Redzinski) Kuharevicz of Sand Lake, MI, Edward B. (Kim) Kuharevicz of Fruitport, Charles J. Kuharevicz of Fruitport and Audrey L. Stromberg of Cloverville; 7 grandchildren, Joseph (Amber) Blackmer, Kevin (Melissa) Blackmer, Kyle (Amanda Bench) Kuharevicz, Amy Kuharevicz, Lindsay (Gregg Clark) Broadbent, Haley (Brad Faulkner) Stromberg and Kendall Kuharevicz; 7 great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Florence Cabot of Ludington; half-brother, Lawrence Cabot of Ludington; step-sister, Bonnie Poulin of Ravenna; and her (sister of the heart) cousin, Margie (Bernard) Schultz of Ravenna. She was also preceded in death by a step-brother, Robert Poulin and her son-in-law, Brian Stromberg. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday,October 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Wood officiating at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
