Phyllis Jane (Shriver) Bean's Obituary
Phyllis Jane (Shriver) Bean, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home in Muskegon, Michigan. She was 86 years old. Phyllis was born on November 28, 1935 in Muskegon to Clyde Elmer and Clara Mae (Rewalt) Shriver. She was a member of Egelston Seniors Club, loved painting and Eagle Football. Phyllis spent many years working at Jumbo’s in Wolf Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scott Allen Cunningham, her siblings, Bernard (Pauline) Shriver, Joyce (Harold) Broughton, Willian (Kathleen) Shriver, Meredith (Susan) Shriver; and half-brother, Mark (Loretta) Shriver. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Colleen (Thom) Macy of Muskegon; her son, Douglas (Chastity) VanderVelde of Muskegon; brother, Harvey (Sharon) Shriver of Fremont; sister, Darlene Drake of Muskegon; half-siblings, Susan Alexander and Grant Shriver; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
