Aunt Phyllis made the best zucchini pickles ever. One time Mom and Dad took my sister and me to visit Uncle Chuck and Aunt Phyllis. My Mom would always tell us NOT to ask for anything. Aunt Phyllis brought out her zucchini pickles and Deanne and I ate the whole quart. Mom was so embarrassed! We loved them so much Aunt Phyllis sent a quart home with us. We told Mom “we didn’t ask” but Aunt Phyllis was always so kind, she never waited for us to ask. Heaven now has two very special ladies, my Mom and Aunt Phyllis!
