I worked with Phyllis the whole 20 years that she was at Clarke and we were very good friends. My husband and I made a trip to Chicago with Phyllis and Al that I will never forget. So many wonderful memories. My sympathy to her family. Marcia Kaup
Phyllis was such a kind and generous lady who did so much for the residents at the Village of Park Terrace. She will be greatly missed by many and perhaps most of all by my mother, Ellen, who Phyllis took under her wing many years ago. Phyllis enjoyed sharing her home cooked meals with her, making sure Mother kept involved in activities, and was always the dearest friend to her. I will miss seeing Phyllis sitting in her regular spot during weekday brunch time and her friendly wave and smile. My deepest sympathy to her family at your loss. She truly was an exceptionally wonderful lady.

Where to begin? Phyllis was a dear lady! I got to know her and her husband thru my mom/ Helen Helm across the hall at the Village at Park Terrace. Phyllis was so good to my mom and my family as we cared for mom in her last days. Phyllis sent Marlene down the hall with meals and goodies. Then I started working in the hair salon at the Village and had the opportunity to cur Phyllis’s hair the last year and a half. She was such a joy! So loved by her friends at the Village! Worked with Phyllis at Clarke Floor for many years, we became friends and started to do arts and craft shows together. She also lived right out my back door across the field, we had many coffee breaks on her deck ( Al was our entertainment). Many good times, will miss her.
