Phyllis E. Jibson's Obituary
Phyllis Ellen Jibson, age 79, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born in Muskegon on May 5, 1943 to Vernon and Mamie (Anderson) Perron. Phyllis married Gerald “Jug” Jibson on September 12, 1998. She retired from Kmart after 24 years of service. Phyllis was a devoted member of Jibson Immanuel Baptist Church in Egelston Twp. She was an avid reader, gardener, loved to travel and try new things. She was a loving mother, wife, and sister. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Gerald (Jug) Jibson of Ravenna; son, William Paul Stevenson of Mancelona, MI; daughters: Kristine (Bill) Wesley and Janet Crenno both of Muskegon; sister, Gail Kline of Texas; sister-in-law, Gloria (Bill) Mann of Muskegon; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ted Perron; and sister, Jean Brandenburg Johnson. SERVICES for Phyllis will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Jibson Immanuel Baptist Church (7960 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442).
