Phyllis J. Killingbeck's Obituary
Phyllis Jean Killingbeck, age 68, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 from colon cancer. She was born November 26, 1952 in Grand Rapids to Phillip and Emmogene (Litchard) Wolters and spent the latter years of her life in Muskegon, MI. On December 17, 1971, she married Craig W. Killingbeck in Grand Rapids and he survives her. Phyllis supported and volunteered for many organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels. She loved her Muskegon neighborhood at Pere Marquette Park and family time. She worked for a time for the City of Norton Shores. Survivors include her husband, Craig Killingbeck; 2 sons, Kyle (Kelly) Killingbeck, Kevin (Ruxandra) Killingbeck; 3 grandchildren, Jon Miller, Aaron Killingbeck, Lauren Killingbeck; 1 sister, Mary Hanna; 3 brothers, Karel (Patricia) Wolters, Phillip (Mary) Wolters, Larry Wolters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Public Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday, April 30, 2021 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required. A Private Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids.
