Phyllis R. Main's Obituary
Phyllis R. Main, age 91, passed away January 30, 2020. She was born October 19, 1928, in Spring Lake, MI, to Andrew and Pauline (Brickman) Tripp. On February 28, 1981, she married Albert “Dick” Main in Whitehall, MI. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2019. Years ago, she worked for Gardner Denver, later known as Cooper Industries, for 17 years. She was affectionately known as “Gran” by her children. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She had a giving heart including making hats for babies in the hospital and lap blankets for Veterans in wheelchairs. She is survived by 4 children: Margaret Ann (Robert) Molengraff, Joyce (Gary) Wickerham, Harold Habian, and Ronald Habian; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois (Leonard) Noell; many nieces, nephews, special relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Tripp. According to her wishes, there will be no services.
