Mrs. Phyllis C. Winegar's Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis C. Winegar, age 92, passed away Monday evening, February 18, 2013 at a local hospital. Phyllis was born December 12, 1920 in Flushing, MI, to Leonard and Etta (Zendlar) Confer. On April 26, 1945, she married Donald M. Winegar in Cleveland, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1967. Phyllis worked as a data processor for the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI for 22 years prior to her retirement in 1979. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church throughout her life and was also affiliated with VFW Post #3195 in Muskegon. Phyllis is survived by her children, Donna J. (Stephen A.) Foster of Lakeland, FL and Roy J (Barbara) Winegar of Muskegon; 3 granddaughters, Kris Winegar, Kelley Winegar Klenda, and Lindsay Foster; 1 great-grandson, Jacob Klenda; and 2 special friends, Ben Snook and Mike Fayfer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford. In accordance with her wishes, private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Flint, MI.
