Mrs. Harry L. Potter, nee' Phyllis Adelia Mahn, passed away Wednesday evening, August 6, 2003 at Grand Traverse Pavilions, Traverse City, MI. She was born on Dec. 12, 1903, in Goshen, Indiana, daughter of Ada Pardee Bridge Mahn and Philip J. Mahn. After moving to Elkhart, she graduated high school and attended Indiana University studying journalism. IN Elkhart, was active in many civic affairs, serving as President of Pan Hellenic, School PTA's and Vice Pres. Of League of Women Voters. IN 1947, the family moved to N. Muskegon, MI where she was active in several organizations including, President of Greater Muskegon Women's Club & N. Western Women's Club District. She was a member of First Congregational Church, it's Circle 8, Past-Pres. Of Kiwanis Queens & original board member of Goodwill Industries. Belonged to Hackley Hospital Aux., Service League and Verse & Haiku, appearing in many national magazines and periodicals. Two sons survive, Harry M. Potter of Elk Rapids, MI and Philip L. Potter of Aurora, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1PM Saturday, September 27, 2003 at
