Phyllis J. Reynolds' Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis J. Reynolds, age 83, peacefully went to be with her Lord, Sunday afternoon, April 18, 2010, at Ft. Myers, Florida, where she has wintered the last 22 years. Phyllis was born November 26, 1926 in Shelby, MI to William “Everett” and Hazel (Stahl) Wright and has resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Phyllis had been an office manager for the City of Muskegon. She had attended First Wesleyan Church for 83 years and will be dearly missed. On March 19, 1948 she married Jack C. Reynolds and he survives him along with 1 son, Ronald J. Reynolds of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Hannah Reynolds of Arizona; 2 step-grandchildren, Keith and Patricia Boutell; 3 brothers, James (Vivian) Wright of Clio, MI, Duane Wright and Homer (Dorothy) Wright of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Marie (Robert) Herlein of Ludington, Ruth (James) Lane of Davison and Judith (Mark) Carr of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Robert (Virginia) Reynolds and 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Kleyen and Lydia Reynolds. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Wanda McRoberts. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at First Wesleyan Church, 1040 East Forest Ave., with Rev. Michael Schultz officiating.
